Bro!!!, thank you for taking the time, putting together this exellent video, now I know how to brake into the industry, I've been learning Python on my own for a while, left it and came back to it again, kos I don't wanna give up, I can put together some code now, thanks to you, Web Development is my current goal, then from there to Machine Learning and AI.

Hello, so I just started The Zero To Mastery Complete Python Developer career pathway. It’s an ~ 3 months long learning track. (I’m a complete beginner in tech and programming - medical sciences background. What do you think about this learning track for python and is it enough to land a fairly decent job or do I also need to add some other programming skills (C/C++) and/or something else. The program will help me build several projects that I plan on changing up a little? Thanks so much in advance!
@loistalagrand10 ай бұрын
Are you referring to "Become a Python Developer" pathway, or are you referring to a course? In any case, you need to make sure that the program you're following teaches some Python web framework (as I said in this video), not just on Python.
@Mr2tooCool4U10 ай бұрын
@@loistalagrand I’m referring to the pathway! It’s a full on course that walks you through till the end. I do believe it touches on web development too. I’m going to rewatch your video again and take note of everything you’ve said. Thanks a lot
@loistalagrand10 ай бұрын
@@Mr2tooCool4U You're welcome. The pathway does contain a course on Django. I have researched ZTM, and I would say the courses and pathways probably take more time than indicated. The pathway you are referring to contains more than enough to get you hired. As a matter of fact, I'd be willing to bet that my (Python developer) colleagues don't know half of the stuff that's in this program.

@@loistalagrand wowww, that’s awesome to hear! Like really. Thank SOO MUCH for the information. I’m going to do my best to learn and complete the entire course. I want to fully commit to this career change!!!!

I am also a recent graduate almost halfway done with the python zero to mastery course, and I was wondering what keyword jobs I should be looking for. There's just not many "entry level python jobs" but I saw your comment on the other person doing the same course. What type of jobs should I be looking for?
@loistalagrand8 ай бұрын
Django developer jobs are probably the best option. The Django framework is the most popular for Python. This is a pretty good career path.
@gabrielmayfield96778 ай бұрын
Thank you for the reply so much. The only thing is I don't see a lot of django jobs posted online. Is there some other keywords I should be looking for or any other jobs that are entry level python jobs? @@loistalagrand

Can someone tell me what should i learn next? I have finished(i mean am good at ) python and git ,dsa,design patterns & next am thinking to learn sql,javascript,html&css But i found out angela complete web development course, so should i go for Dr. Angela Yu course or should i continue learning javascript->html&css-> sql... next all by my self! As always much appreciated!

You need to have a specific job position in mind. Don't just learn technologies for the sake of it. If you already have some Python knowledge, consider learning Django. If you like Next.js better, consider specializing in Next.js frontend development.

You can't go wrong with either one. MERN is probably more popular overall.

It doesn't really matter , you can use a macbook, you could use a windows computer. I prefer Mac for programming.

Hi. How do you think it is not a big problem if I have no degree but have job experience? I worked as a python developer for more than 3 years, but lost my job recently. I thought about getting a degree but it would take so much time and effort
@basilbenny77099 ай бұрын
I personally think your experience has a greater value. Even nowadays most CS graduate doesn't really know coding in general, they don't teach a lot in college. And programming is more about solving problems rather than just coding. So I believe you have a good chance.
