Nas helped me get on the top 100 across UFC 3/4/and 5 I was always a good player but he helped me understand the philosophy behind it. It’s not even about the controls it’s about the person holding the controller. One big thing to add to all this is being calm when playing. Nervousness always makes bad inputs and poor decisions. The calmer user wins usually. In the video shown above both nas and the other player doesn’t care about their rank or what they have it’s just two players using critical thinking. Don’t be discouraged if you lose. My Golden Rules is Don’t panic Accept all losses and don’t be discouraged Stay focused people often will lose focus when losing bad I’ve won many “adjustments” fights Lastly HAVE FUN and learn new things! I’ve been playing this when I was a kid now I’m a military man that still finds his way back on joysticks again. This game has always been a chess match. I just love strategy and combat they go together like water and wine 💫

I learned the game strictly online play and it took my until level 40+ before I even started to win half my fights. A random KO here and there kept me going.

I’m in your exact same boat, like I know I should use head movement and what not but no tutorial really helps me understand how. Whenever I do it I just get caught and take extra damage, and or I just kinda stall myself. I know I should do head movement, but like how? What do I do and when?

Everything is a significant strike expect a normal jab and non-postured strikes on ground I believe

Yo when I play fight now the fight settings are wayyyy different from online, is there a way to change the fight now settings? I ask you because you’re more than likely to respond than any other KZbinr.

Fight now settings need to be adjusted before you play go to fight now > then press square on ps (x on Xbox) to open settings. > press right bumper > change whatever gameplay settings you want (grapple assist, camera etc)

One way to get better for you guys that are losing most of your quick fight matches, fight the legendary ai until you beat it the majority of the time I’m talking 95% of the time if you can do that most people on quick fight will be a lot easier for you. It’s gunna suck you will lose 100 times before you start to even win some but I did this for essentially 6 months maybe longer and now I’m pretty good I’ve got to division 8 so not the best but better than having the easy ai be a decent fight for me before I did that, now easy is litterally a joke I laugh at how it was even somewhat of a challenge for me

For the crazies that want to try this don’t stay with the ai for to long if you can beat them 95% of the time move on cause while you will get better if you stay with the ai, the ai isn’t a human and only playing with other players will take you to the next level. Personally a good mix of ranked quick and legendary fights as well as practicing in learn will do wonders

How do you beat patient players? When I fight them I just drain my stamina and get no damage

Focus on doing enough to win the rounds, once your opponent realises your winning they’ll chase you. Gotta learn to be patient man

I run into so many people that just back up the whole time and throw jab straights. It gets to the point where ill just stand still and they wont even engage or come forward at all. If youre one of those players tell me is it actually fun for you to play the game? I could honestly care less if i lose if its a fun fight. Back and forth damage. But backing up every time i take a step forward just makes me leave the game. Distance management is one thing but they are just backing up waiting for me to throw to spam xyxy. No head movement and counters just back up jab straight jab straight, back up A lot of the times i do beat them by landing body kicks when they back up but its just not fun and annoying

Man I’m 0-16 in ranked I need some serious help, should I connect my controller so it’s wired?? I have good connection and etc, but somehow they always get their strikes off before me. Somehow we do same combos yet they knock me and I never hurt them.

i plug my controller in for every game even if it helps the slightest bit, if you know the combos their throwing try using head movement and countering, what i find helps me is going slow first round and seeing what combos n strikes they like so later i can counter when they get comfortable, also try and be on the second half of the exchange let them strike first so their staminas low then mix up to body n head it’ll do more damage and make them more reactive cuz there more vulnerable just some small tips hopefully helps

I Bob and weave but drains my stamina so much then they go body and it’s game over! Sounds like a terribly easy fight if they throw the same one-two combo and you are not slipping/countering with head movement then you don’t deserve to win

The game is so bad but yet we have creators farming content on how to get good at a game that is broken like seriously it’s turned into and an arcade turn based strike game not an mma sim and u can’t even see anyone div or rank so online is useless there nothing to achieve it’s spammer/pull counter city cmon the ground game is child’s play back bumper analogs either left or right wherever the animation moves it’s not even fun I am a div 19 20 in 5 and there’s zero joy in the game there is no skill gap can’t have one when there’s isn’t enough mechanics to have different play styles its literally trash that still getting worked on so by time ufc 6 trailer drops this will finally be by that time updated to what ufc 5 should have been released like
