All I see is utilization review jobs requiring a RN.....why a nurse? PTs actually treat, write notes based on evals and treatments, and bill. Nurses do not do this, and how can they actaully review doctor or therapy notes??? This is so frustrating. I would appreciate any help, or a list of any companies that hire PTs.

I have heard in the past that many insurance companies will hire a bachelors degree graduate in health sciences or biology.

Why would a LPN be able to do this? That is a 1-2 year certification, while DPTs take 6-7 years to get their doctorate. No offense, but they also dont understand our treatment protocols. Do they just review other LPN notes? Also, they arent billing for services, so I dont really understand it.
