There is a way to become a VTuber without a webcam on 3tene (using the computer’s camera), you open 3tene, go to “Make avatar adjustments” and go to “settings”, on the “Webcamera” (under “face tracking type) and choose your computer’s camera, then go to “toggle tracking on/off and start face tracking, it should work :)

you can also make the alpha when transparent max and transparency 0 then make the background transparent you will have a window that will not dissapear when you click other apps and you dont need obs studio u can use any recording software to record(if youre having problems with resizing/closing the window make it non transparent and resize/close it then open transparent bg)

It would be cool if you could modify the amount of eye movement based on your volume levels (if you were a really loud streamer per say), so that the model really starts reacting more to the mouse when you're loud or gets closer to being still when your quieter.

One thing to note fellas if your playing certain games while using vmagic mirror make sure on the home page you disable the click and drag function. It'll allow you to have an overlay in game and you won't accidentally click and drag the avatar off to the milkyway lol. Especially if your playing an FPS game. You'll also want to marry up the frames of your game with the frames of vmagic mirror or your avatar will lag like crazy. Hope that helps 😄

This is actually super helpful! I recently forked out £25 on a webcam only to realise my pc only has 2 usb slots and can't take the webcam as both slots are taken by my mouse abs keyboard. I avoided VMM previously because I assumed the lip sync would be bad but it actually looks amazing for a free program! ♡ Thank you for making videos for dummies like me lol

Free tip--if your character won't move, it's because you accidentally unchecked free camera mode. That should fix it. Then you can uncheck it to keep your camera position and not worry about moving it.

Nice vid, the reason I think most Vtubers recommend the webcam, is not because of the movement, but because of the facial tracking 'makes your face an expression more on par', but idk could be wrong ^-^ still informative, didn't know this program existed~

I normally try to use this on my laptop without a webcam, but the only problem is that it won't track my lip-sync with the microphone. Everything else is working fine, and I'm sure it just might be my kinda old laptop just being old but the microphone has worked fine with other things that needed audio, including me trying out VSeeFace. It's very odd, any advice?

You can track lip sync via your camera or microphone, so maybe try using your camera instead?

I have been playing around with the settings and figured out how to use the controller motion settings. Open settings window>Motion - In the upper body section you should uncheck always hands down mode. Once done go to Devices - Check Enable Input Caputer, scroll down till you see MIDI>Check Use MIDI Controller. That was for Xbox controllers. I used a xbox elite v2 btw. PS4 Controllers should check Use DirectInput. Don't have a ps4 controller so couldn't test that but PS5 doesn't work.
