The reason I want to be an actor and why I love acting is because I just love the idea of being able to bring a character to life and in turn inspire others to pursue an acting career. I also want to be able to leave my small hometown and prove that I can be among the best of the best. I am 23 right now in the year 2024 (I turn 24 in July) and I have given myself 15 years to work as hard as I can to become an A-list actor that will be known worldwide. I know this won't happen overnight, if it did then everyone would become an actor, but it doesn't so I am ready to put in the time, effort, and money to be the best. 1. I was inspired to get into acting after watching Walker Scobell’s performances in his movies. It showed me that also kids my age can make it. It’s funny, I’ve loved acting since I did my first musical in 5th grade, but I’ve never even been remotely interested in film until just a few days ago when I realized how in depth you get to go into your character. @@ryderthegamer4935 I think if it’s a passion of Your’s you should try. At least for a year or two and see if you can get some ground work going. Check out your local colleges and universities - they may have student films going on. Or see if there another city close by with opportunities or work from home work that you can apply to. I would probably recommend still doing Tennis if it’s also something you love, but make time for acting too. You never know. Sometimes all it takes is a single opportunity you never expected to turn out to be something big!

The way it moved me made me want to be perfect and be able to do it as well as them to move others the same exact way. 2. My acting goals: Right now I want to build a big resume. I just want to get in front of cameras specifically-i’m very used to theater-and get used to realism acting and film/tv acting. I want to do as much as I can to build that experience. Then obviously, I would love to do some more well known films and try to get into the higher ups of the film industry to do romantic comedies, maybe some horror films, drama filme, and anything you can think of. I work at Universal Studios and every day I come into contact with anywhere from 6,000 to 40,000 people every day; most of them are wearing T-shirts from their favorite movie or TV show when they arrive and that's exactly how I found out about Stranger Things. I'd never even heard of the show but saw thousands of people wearing shirts with stuff like "Friends don't lie" (etc) that I started to watch the show. I got hooked. And now my goal is to get booked.

I signed with Luxe Talent Agency about a year ago and will be renewing my contract with them within the next few weeks. The most important casting sites (if you're an actor living in LA) are actors access, LA Casting and Casting Frontier. I trained at Playhouse West which was started by Jeff Goldblum (my teachers teacher) and Robert Carnegie. James Franco was also in Jeff's class with my teacher and teaches a class of his own but not at Playhouse West. Had my first supporting role in a feature film about four years ago; have had three lead roles on nationally syndicated TV shows (as a day player, not a regular) but I do a bit of everything - TV, film, theater, industrial, print, voice work, commercial and I teach a free acting class for disabled veterans at the Sepulveda VA.

I like the challenge it presents. Getting roles, growing in the industry, and its a skill that you can develope that noone else can. Only you can act the way you do. Dicaprio, Depp, Hopkins all bring something to their characters that only they can. I want that. I want to be able to being characters to life that people can conmect to. As someone who is not neurotypical, I am always masking, its part of trying to find acceptance which requires me to be able to relate with the people im around. I think that would lend itself well to something I do daily without pay.

Now these are worthy and good goals. So many people in the comments literally saying “I’m wanting to be an actor to be something, to be someone so I’m not forgotten. Then I will be something”. Since i was young ive always had creative and unique ideas and thoughts that were flowing through my head. Eventually when i grew older i started to watch movies, all sorts of movies, good ones and bad ones. I thought I wanted to be an actress for fame and to have money or be recognised. But then I realised I had been acting all my life, through masking as a neurodivergent teen. 1. I was watching a tv show and it switched to the behind the scenes part and it just seemed like such a fun and exciting working environment. I also love acting itself and just being someone your not and able to give life to a person written on a page. 2. I also love watching behind the scenes footage as well as outtakes and bloopers! Yes, if you don't have any classes in your area, definitely look for online classes. One of the silver linings of this pandemic is that many of the great acting schools are now offering online classes. There is still no substitute for in-person learning though so whenever you do have the opportunity to go to a live class, take advantage of it.

For me becoming an actor isn't just about being the best and people knowing me. It's something I've always loved and wanted to do. It gives me so much adrenaline just thinking about it, I love to play roles and be on the stage or on camera.
