I suggest po get more experience muna in the Philippines sobrang ibang work environment po kasi dito sa Japan. The more experience you have, the more prepared you'll be sa buhay sa Japan. Good luck po!

Hi Cris :) thanks for sharing... i also applied in Bison before but did not make the cut after the 1st initial interview at their office. I also tried JET but never heard from them, same with Gaba online and Chesam. . . After years of trying via English teacher route, i tried the caregiving route bec im a nurse here. Finally made it and will be in Japan by July this 2022 (tentative) :) if i may ask, would you have an idea if lets say in the future i want to be an english teacher, would they accept if my visa is for caregiving?

Heyyy! No worries. First of all, congratulations! Which prefecture ka magwowork? And to answer your questions, yes na yes. Once you’re here, it’s so easy to find another job even in a different field. You just need to find a company that will sponsor your new visa. It’s certainly doable but I suggest itry mo muna ang pagiging caregiver dahil pag nagustuhan mo sa Japan, a specific Visa status ng caregivers ay madaling makapagapply ng permanent residency.

From what I remember, walang lesson plan from them. All stages of the lesson, applicants ang gumawa. They will give you though a guide about the teaching approach that they use and you can just search the internet about it.

Hello po. You definitely have the credentials but most companies may prefer someone else with teaching experience. Please still try and apply and while waiting, I suggest getting some teaching experience, even online.

Hello! If hiningan ka ng agency ng placement fee, there’s about 99% chance that it’s not a legitimate agency. Check POEA’s website to know if the agency is trustworthy. In my experience, my only expenses were the medical fee, authentication of my documents, and the initial pocket money to last bago ang first salary.

Teach, have you of heard of Aeon School? I applied online but it seemed that they don't grant visa sponsorship from the Philippines same with Gaba. Is it better to apply thru agencies u mentioned here? Thank you

Yes! Aeon is or was a sister school of Amity. Very similar teaching style and salary but yeah, they don’t have a partner agency in the Philippines. I suggest apply through the agencies/companies I mentioned then once you’re here, after finishing your first contract, it’s so much easier to switch jobs. Good luck!

Hello po. You need at least a Bachelor's Degree from any field to secure a working visa related to teaching in Japan. Many companies prefer relevant work experience but if you can show them what you're capable of, they'd definitely consider you. Best of luck!

Ilang weeks din po before I heard from them. There weren't any tests during my time but we had several interviews and demo lessons in front of other teachers and recruiters from Japan.

Its not about model looking, it’s the fact that you are phillipino and not a native speaking country, China and South Korea will not hire Phillipno unless they have studied in a native English speaking country
