Also its good to include DRS and ERS. A lot of newbies forget that they even exist (including me back in the day) or just ignore the advantage that it gives to you. DRS can be activated on DRS Straights to boost your speed by few miles and ERS is the blue bar under your HUD which boosts your car when ever you want by pressing the ERS button. It reloads when breaking. These two give A MASSIVE boost in your speed overall, and are very easy to learn. I used to struggle getting 1:04 sec in Hockenheim before, but after DRS and ERS, im getting a comfortable 1:02 seconds almost every lap.

It might just be a me thing but using a 90's/07's car to warm up makes me feel more the grip when i switch to the 2024 car, so i actually think that buying those cars is a pretty good investment.

I agree with the fact that mobile controls are difficult, but I feel its only for phones. Using an Ipad/tablet (mainly Ipad) is easier, and actually is really easy to pick up, as you can steer different directions quickly. Also, using touch controls can be more helpful for begginers, as they may not know DRS/ERS and the buttons show them. I honestly feel the other mobile option is difficult, as you must continuously move two things up and down and left and right at the same time.

The only issue with ipads over iphone or phones is that they are usually slower than phone devices in my experience.

As a mobile player who’s getting decent laps (most Proud of a hockenheim 1:06.32), honestly, i just get used to it. I use 3 fingers, one for DRS one for steering and one for throttle and break. I really don’t like how there’s no DRS+throttle or at least make it so that it still stays on as long as you throttle in .5s as using 3 fingers rlly uncomfortable. (All applies to ers as well)

I use a trick, my favorite map is Baku, every time there is no curve I put the ERS to go faster and when I have less than 10% in a lap, the next lap is without ERS

Hey Zak, love your content but since you wanted to know why mobile users are good playing the game for me personally I have decent or good laps but I have to have a good reaction time when pressing these buttons because you can make few misclicks and end up crashing (trust me I had few bottles because I accidentally misclick) but also try to get a good FOV to see things and yes it’s true that to get faster laps you need the mouse I like playing in my phone

@@tombuckleigh not really. A bad driver driving an RB will only beat other bad drivers in worse cars. I legit get in my stock Williams all the time just to prove a point, and win against faster cars. Again, a faster car will always make a difference. But rather than paying to win, since you’ll still get beat by so many other people, focus on getting faster as a driver to maximize the performance of any car you have

@@mannafataftah4189 That’s the same with me, I’d say I’m a quick driver on FA, however, there are numerous people who are below average at the game but have OP cars, which makes my experience 10x worse because I’m having to push the limits every lap which leads to me making mistakes and getting penalties, while they can just cruise around and miss all the apex’s, I’d respect them if they were half decent at the game, but it’s so frustrating knowing that I’m way better than them at the game.

@@tombuckleigh It can be frustrating yeah, but I’m only a second off my best lap in the RB using a stock Williams. Like if you know how to get the maximum out of the cars, it’s not too big of a gap. And generally my consistency, I’ll still win against someone in a 2021 car. If they’re decent at the game, it might be difficult. That’s why I’ll just end up getting in my 2021 car and proceed to beat the same guy by 20 seconds in a 3 lap race 😭
