I wouldn’t say it’s high effort, the way fish are designed just makes it easy for devs to add more which I think is smarter than making them super detailed, there is many bugs boats alone bug out very often. For one, it does, but you can just use softwares that actually help? Why use mid slop RNG that thousands glaze to BARELY train your speed. To be honest, you don't even NEED to manually train it unless your brain doesn't function correctly, your reaction time will get better as you get out of the I-Pad, Little Jimmy. And second, this HEAVILY induces Carpal Tunnel due to the rapid movements required to even click the Shake button in the first place. Now you might be saying "oh other games do this so it's fair!!" but when you get to the point where the ENTIRE GAMEPLAY LOOP can be summarized to THIS EXACT MECHANIC that can injure your wrist, it can get a bit concerning. Fish really reminds me of Dredge, just with less story and less scary, but still really nice. Also, many NPCs in Fisch are not only present in Stardew Valley, but in Dredge aswell, like for example the Angler in Fisch is very similar to the Fishmonger in Dredge.

there is no way people are calling a “game” with a single mechanic a actual game, this game is literally just a mini game simulator, ITS LITERALLY A COPY OF A MINIGAME IN STARDEW VALLEY but it gets 100k players because why not.. I just checked and they also steal some of the audio from stardew valley’s fishing aswell, 100k players btw.

I played for around 30 minutes, made no progress at all due to the absurd amount of time required to do literally anything, swam to a island without a boat because the devs were too lazy to code simple swimming mechanics, and realized there was literally nothing left to the game and decided to stop wasting my time with it. They even said the game was a “passion project” when it’s just a clear example of money-hungry devs milking the hell out of premium payouts.

Well Incase you didn’t know there’s more aspects to a game than just it’s gameplay. Fisch is so simple, that it’s very relaxing to play with friends while talking about stuff and sometimes catching something big. Also because its not an AFK game you can vc with random people and have a great time with them. The thing that makes fisch fun is it’s simple minigame. Simple dose not = bad.
