Great tutorial. It is the only one on KZbin that doesn't make your entire body invisible. I like that it only affects your skin, and not the clothes to. Is there a way to make it so that your hands can pass over your shirt, and keep the shirt being seen without it being invisible? I think rotoscope might be the answer here....

Oh that may be tricky. Roto alone will not solve the problem as you will also need a cleanplaye from what's behind the hands... could be done... but as said: very time consuming and frustrating

@@flo.motion I was able to achieve the effect by putting a small image of the shirt under the roto. The shirt is then just manually tracked below the roto, and because of the displacement effect you can't really tell. Thanks for all the help!

Great trick dude!! Thank you for sharing it. One question: the only way to make this work with a moving camera is to use a remoted one that can perfectly repeat two shots right? With and without the actor. Isn’t it?

Kind of! YOu could do a shot with moving camera and then film yourself in greenscreen, and 3D track the camera! But then the workflow with the difference matte would be slightly different! I would then use the keyed footage as source for the displacemtn map!

Well you need to know what's behind you... that is kind of hard to do if you do not have that material... you could make something up with the new generative fill in Photoshop!! That could indeed be an option!!
