HOW TO BECOME MODEL IN INDIA

There are two useful ways to become a model:
1. Via Modelling Agency
2. Via collaborating with Photographers/designers/stylists.
In this video I am telling about the first and convenient way to become a Model in India by getting scouted by a Modelling Agency. I am also spilling all the tea about the pros and cons of being assigned with an Agency. So that all you guys can know everything and decide for yourself what's better for YOU.

So, Keep up with the good work :) I am an aspiring model and I have managed to get a walk in interview with inega, but I have no experience in this industry whatsoever. I have just started my career as a model. So I had a few question regarding that : 1. What should I expect from that interview? What were the questions they asked you when you went for the interview? 2. Also, I do not have a portfolio yet. I got selected on the basis of the polaroids I sent. So, will that be a problem? Do they ask for a portfolio before signing someone as a model? 3. And how long is their contract for?

Hey The Interview is a basic procedure nothing hardcore they just cross check with the information you provide. Its ohk to not have a portfolio I too didn't have one back then. And about the contract I guess it's for 2 years.

My eye power is 3.5 and we have lens to back it up , There is nothing that decides for you to become a model no height no body vitals its you , You Yourself decide whether you can do it or not.

Hey there Prachi 🌻, as a beginner if you are doing shoot with just a photographer for picture purpose it won't be paid. But if you somehow manage to get a project for local brands sometimes it barter system based but sometimes they can agree to pay as well and the payment can depend and can vary between 2-8k.

Having something to support yourself in the beginning is really important, but having a full time job can be a big hussle and taking out time to go for various auditions and sending audition can be a little tough to manage at the same time. Make sure whatever you opt for it should allow you felixbility in terms of leaves and allows you some free time for yourself.🌼

It didn't work out for me at all and we called off the bond on mutual understanding but my journey can't decide whether it can work out for anyone else or not because they do have helped other models to build their career.

Learning isn't harmful and It will only benifit you if you invest your time in learning the skills but but Agencies usually look for Fresh People who has no prior experience of doing anything Solid in the Field. So no need to learn it in order to send your Polaroids because agencies take you on the bases of the potential they see in you not how experienced you are.

When you are under 18 agencies only take you when you have your parents approval, yes you can send your Polaroids and Keep it as a side hustle untill you graduate. Study is something that helps you grow and this world can take everything from you but not your knowledge so education is Must.

Hello Akash, It depends to whom you are approaching if you wanna get selected by agency then you only need polaroids , but if you are an independent freelance model you will require the portfolio to show the client.
