If you get a CPL in the US, and you were studying there with a student visa, a student visa does not allow you to get a permanent job. Another thing is that there is a 1500 hour rule which means that pilots who want to work for an airline must have 1500 flight hours and an ATP certificate (Airline Transport Pilot License) before they can apply for a job at an airline. So after receiving the CPL pilots must achieve the required 1500 flight hours for the ATP certificate. And airlines usually require that applicants must have an unrestricted right to live and work in that country, which basically means that you need to have a permanent resident status before you can apply for a job. So if you want to live and work permanently in the US, you need to apply for a Green Card to get a permanent resident status. This process may take time and the decision depends on the immigration authority. However, when you have a CPL you can also obtain a flight instructor rating (CFI). If you get a CFI rating, and if you can get a special work visa, there may be a possibility that you can work as a flight instructor for a certain period of time depending on the validity period of the visa. You can get more information from the flight school, regarding if you can get a special work visa, and if it is possible to work as a flight instructor.

Really informative video sir! I had a question. For going to US for cpl, u said that we have to give exams over there and complete 250 hours. So if we give all the 6 DGCA exams from India itself and then go to the US for flying, do we still require to give any exams? Or only 250 flying hours?

When you come back and you want to fly in your home country, you must convert your foreign pilot license to a DGCA pilot license so that the license is valid. When you have completed your taining in the USA, you can't directly join an airline there, because as a foreigner you can't directly apply for a job. In the US you need to have a residence permit which basically means a permanent resident status, so that you can apply for a job. Basically the procedure is always the same. You apply to a flight school according to their requirements and instructions.
