My Son is an ENTJ, so I am watching this because you recommended he read this book. I’m a ISTP and am so grateful you recommended the book “ How To Win Friends And Influence People”. I know what he is going to say when I suggest he read this “Mom are you serious, you think I need this, I’m not going to waist my time”. He needs to read this book👍 He did tell me, he is going to spend more time helping me learn about investments. He gets so impatient and angry.

Liked this video! Your animations are truly great. Also like that you emphasize the importance of making money work for you, and what compound interest can accomplish for you in the long run. I think you could have talked about the advice regarding taking action and seizing opportunities though. Hi, love your video, well done. couple of question i would like to ask, i don't think you will reply but i will ask anyway. I have started using videoscribe too, but i am having trouble moving characters across the canvas like you do, i watched a couple of video tutorials on morphing, however most of them always bring in the subject "outline" the little guys on your cartoon which i could also find in my videoscribe does not give me the option to tick 'outline' hence i m stuck in my video production to move the little guy across the screen, could you help me out here? shed me some light on how does animation work like when koby moves in from right to left 00:26 , I would really appreciate your reply, thank you in advance

If you try for 20% interest for 40 years, you probably won't end up with any money at all - 7:25. The book recommends "wise" investments. The book also has a quote; "Gold clingeth to the protection of the cautious owner who invests it under the advice of men wise in its handling". IMO annualized returns of 4% - 8% over long periods of time are stellar returns and while there is some risk, this is wise investing. Also, remember that the compounding effect chart used in the video represents a ONE time investment of 10k. The diligent saver will be contributing over the course of their life. This adds up to numbers that only be dreamed of now. If your company has a 401K plan with a match - enroll now.

What happens is as you start to earn interest on your money then keep that interest you earned invested you are earning interest on that interest you have earned. See how quickly the doubling pattern grows 1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 512 1024.... 1 to 1000 in 10 steps... so say you can double your initial investment every five years (+20% per year) after 50 years your initial investment will have grown over 1000 fold, so say you invested 1000 dollars at +20% per year in 50 years time it will have grown to over 1 million.

I know that feeling :) but I don't know good options to make a lot of money fast and become a millionaire overnight. Moreover, there are some studies that show the faster you get money the more miserable you will end up. 70 percent of people who win a lottery end up broke in a few years, according to the National Endowment for Financial Education. My recommendation is to learn about passive income (there are 2 passive income videos in my Playlist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWWwn6WBgdWbqLM and also read the millionaire next door (or just watch my review). This book is an eye opener. It will show you what it's really like to be a millionaire. -MinionNoMore

Here is how I look at it: time is going to pass and you are going to get older no matter what. You can have money when that time has passed and you are older...or not. Secondly, one million is a far off number, you will start feeling pretty damn good when you hit the 1K mark, 5K amount, better at 25K, and always better the more you have saved.

Just live well below your means and put half your income in index funds, retire before you turn 45. That´s what i am doing. I am 31 years old and all my friends bought the most expensive house the bank allowed them to, and 2 expensive cars so it all looks good. They complain that the retirement age is 69 where i live.. I tell them they live in an delusional world, but they think i am the dumb ass broke guy.. Hmm, I got no debt, no single family house payment and no crazy wife.

Thanks for Commenting! :) The Richest Man Of Babylon was one of the first personal finance books I ever read - and today after I read something like ~30 books about how to make money / how to save money - I think that's really solid advice from you. The hardest part for most people seems to be 'not looking rich' Give those people a copy of the book the millionaire next door. I really is an eye opener for those people :)
@thomasj5722
@thomasj5722 6 жыл бұрын
MinionNoMore Thanks i have not read this one, but I think I will buy it. But the rules of the game is pretty simple. The biggest mistake is people can't tell the difference between an investment and a liabilities. Everyone i know think their single family home is an investment, buying stock is an investment and so on. I rent a house cheaper than what it just cost to pay the morgage on it. everytime something breaks or needs to be maintained I call the sucker to fix it, and so on. If you build everything you have on debt as all young people does, you become a slave to interest. If you live below your means, you earn the interests, thus the money is your slave in stead and makes you financially free at some point depending on your vehicle.

There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light1 is like a niche in which there is a lamp, the lamp is in a crystal, the crystal is like a shining star, lit from ˹the oil of˺ a blessed olive tree, ˹located˺ neither to the east nor the west,2 whose oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light! Allah guides whoever He wills to His light. And Allah sets forth parables for humanity. For Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.

5% interest is imposible let alone 20% interest is a joke. And even if you get that you have to wait 40 years then you will be the richest man not in Babylon but in the cementery. Truth be told this theory is stupid and useless.

Stop being lazy, yes a 5% in impossible. But 5% in real estate, stocks, or crypto is very common, it’s actually on the lower side. Real Estate can net you roughly 10% a year, stocks can net you 8% a year, personally day trading crypto has net me 440% last year.

You don't have to be the richest, these are principals that anyone can use to build wealth. If it ends up only being 100K over one's life, or when is ready to stop working, that is 100K you wouldn't have otherwise.

Fine when the currency supply is stable. But when currency is being debased (as what caused the fall of Babylon, Athens, Rome, 18th Century France etc etc) you need to find an investment that beats inflation. In today's world (in real stats, not govt. Stats) unless you're getting 8% growth you're going backwards.. and with Govt. manipulation of interest rates were at 0.5%, 0% and in europe even -ve interst rates. We're in an "end times". All this advice is worthless. The barbarians are at the walls.. just take what you can and run.
