As a total non-professional DIY 'plumber' with an engineering background (so I understand the calcs but am crap with the tools 😂), I really enjoy watching these videos 🤣 Much respect to you guys for your skills and professionalism. This is a really helpful tutorial.

Exactly same here , I have so much respect for anyone doing this kind of stuff and what I love is that these guys are happy to teach younger ppl and get more ppl in to the trade. Couldn’t learn from two better ppl

A good pipe bending video would be a partial cross over,. Where the pipe jumps over a pipe and into another pipe. Bending to a given measurement at 90 degrees is quite easy with scrap piece of pipe insertion method. Plumber parts and PB plumber channels both have very good pipe bending tutorials. Oh and Tomkat gas training Derick. I believe you did your ACS training with him?

Some time ago I saw Andrew Millward Watford do some crazy bends in an installation. Well, the bends themselves were not so crazy, but how he integrated them into one single, long piece of pipe, around some obstacles and corners, left me a bit astounded. That guy definitely can think 3D.

That Andy Millturd loves himself, oh & his topless Apprentice!!! If he was chocolate he’d eat himself. Question his judgement & he’ll turn on you, he’s a badass bitch!! Kind regards Dick Puller

Great video as always. Your a credit to your profession in that your channel gives out good quality information and advice. Not sure is heat pumps are your area expertise or if your going to become qualified / competent in that dept. As with the government push towards renewables and heat pumps a video on pros / cons and a comparison on running costs for your investment would be very useful. Rodger from Skill builder is not a great fan of heat pumps in poorly insulated older homes. Would be good to see a few heat pump installs if you were ever thinking of turning your skills in that direction.

at college we had a board drawn out to a 3meter length of 15mm with numerous bends including stretched length. we only ever did it once but was a good laugh with added competition between a few of us. I always use the techniques shown when pipework is on show can always look back at the end of the job/day full of pride. plumbers art 🎨

Nice work on the bending. I bet learning to bend pipe could become very costly very quickly due to the price of copper pipe.

Hi guys, novice here obvs. Is this hard drawn copper pipe? Not soft annealed? I just wanted to make sure a pipe bender could bend hard copper pipe. Cheers, Sarah

Hello mate, I’m 22 years old finished my level 1,2&3 diploma at college but I haven’t had any on site experience, and I’m finding it hard for anyone to take me on, what would you recommend for me to get nvq qualified? Thank you
@LabRat66192 жыл бұрын
Maybe experience, but I can do it with a few measurements and by eye.
