Thank you so much Mike, I'm looking into the logistics of "Custom Air Cooling" since I don't want to mess with custom water cooling, and I think "Custom Air Cooling" would be neat. The idea of 80mm (couldn't find 40mm to 120mm fan adapters and don't own a 3D printer to make one myself) PVC pipes inside a Computer for custom cooling is looking possible!

Just make sure never to use that oven for any food cooking after heating PVC pipe in it.

Thanks for the safe inspiration. I’m attempting a wedding arch for photo backgrounds , I figure I only need the corners so oven will work

Hey Mary! If you use something like 1/2pvc you don't need to heat it. You can just bend it into an arch and stake it down. Then it's also not permanently bent, which can make transport much easier. Just thought I'd offer that tidbit in case you were wondering. Thanks for watching!

Hi Mike, what is the temperature where PVC begins to give off deadly dioxins? When you torch it and it starts to get soft of shiny is that giving off these gasses? Also, is another sign of it giving off deadly gases if you can smell that burned PVC smell in the air?

In electrical we bent 4" pvc using hot oil and air pressure to keep out kinks

So, plug one end... Hook a hose to a plugged second end... Then dip it in oil? I just realized that hot oil could take the place of the sand I supposed. Oh wait... Hot sand would work too. Thanks for that tip!

@@MikesInventions I used the hot sand method today. I just put sand in a bread pan in my electric oven at 550 for about 10-15 min. For schedule 40. Made snowshoes. For a form I simply pounded nails in a board to the shape I wanted.

Wow, that sounds cool! Glad this helped out. I want to make a go cart frame or something with complex shapes out of PVC. With bending, the possibilities are endless, and you can avoid many of the expensive fittings.
