How to Bend Text Along a Path in Lightburn

I am new to Lightburn. When I watch some other videos for help they will not complete the circle, and they talk blah blah for 10 mini and end up watch some other videos, but video your video is 3 to 5 min and get the job done. THANK YOU. I try to delete the text path line, but why can't we be able to delete the line. Maybe the software design is like that, or it's a bug.

One way around this is to just click on the curved line and give it a different colour so that it creates a separate layer to the text. Then you can hide that layer in the Cuts/Layers panel so that it doesn't output to the laser. Hope that makes sense but I might make a separate video on this.

Following your steps...I right click after I select both, but dont see Apply Path to Text Option...any ideas? Thank You.!

It may be that you haven't selected both the text and the path. If you only select one object, then the Apply Path to Text option won't appear. Make sure that when you are selecting both the curve and the text that you drag from the right hand side to the left so that both items are selected.

I've been practicing. I'm having trouble spacing the letters. When I use the horizontal spacing, ALL the letters stretch. Sometimes I only need a little space in between just 2 letters. Any suggestions?

Does the "path" have to be made from a line? I made a semi-circle using the circle and then split it (thanks to instructions from one of your other videos!) and then some text and now I am right-clicking but do not see "Apply path to text" as an option at all.

Have you selected BOTH the semi-circle and the text before you are right-clicking?

If 'apply path to text' doesn't appear then it is usually because you haven't selected both the line and the text. Click and drag from the RIGHT (not the left) with your mouse to select both the line and the text.
