Stress is an unavoidable part of life. However you can adopt strategies and best practices to allow you to better cope. During uncertain times, the degree of stress can be especially overwhelming, and may cause many of us to feel alone and without hope. Covid-19 has provided a perfect storm to test our ability to manage stress. It has impacted almost every corner of our lives, and the result is many of us trying to just manage our day to day stress levels during a time filled with so many unknowns. Understanding how stress impacts your overall health and learning coping strategies is the solution.
This (part 1 of 2) presentation will help explain how stress effects your physical, mental and emotional health. It will look at how nutrition impacts your ability to cope with stress and introduce some strategies to help minimize the impact it has on you.
