I want to thank you for your IL2 “How To” videos. I consider your channel the best source of reference material I’ve found to date. You provide well detailed information without, sorry to be blunt here, the love of one hearing their own voice more than focusing on important need-to-know information. I do have a question I’m sure is in your used equipment list but I cannot seem to locate with any specificity. What HOTAS do you use and find has enough button options for all of the controls necessary for eyes on screen game play as opposed to searching for the button on a keyboard? Are you using foot pedals as well? Thank you again for all you’ve provided to make this wonderful flight sim easier to get on and start flying without too much guesswork.

Excellent video, I am a great fan of your tutorials. Just wanted to add that I blew my engine while cutting abruptly power, probably beacuse of the same reason you mention it can happen if applying full power suddenly in T/O, just the other way round.

Your English is excellent, but I want to point out one small grammar correction: When you are talking about something that occurs consistently, which is a feature of the thing you are describing, and not a single incident, you say 'the entire horizontal stabilizer moves' as opposed to' is moving'. 'The aircraft 'handles' very well, as opposed to 'is handling' very well.

Wow, they actually take the cross out of the swastika in the game too? I thought it was ridiculous on the actual planes, but extremely ridiculous to do it in a game. As an American of German decent, I know who the good guys were. I looked deeply into that war.

so because you have of german decent and you "looked into the war" you know who the good guys were? Who? The guys who killed a good portion of the european population? But back to the good old "muh swastika" question. The swastika is not on the planes because that symbol was banned in germany up until "recently "(well it was never really banned, but it was also not green lit, so companies decided now to show it. Look up Wolfenstein cases) edition.cnn.com/2018/08/10/europe/germany-video-games-nazi-symbols-intl/index.html With with germany out of the way there are still other countries with similar laws. Besides the swastika is still causing quite emotional impact. Especially in germany. A video game company cant affort that stigma. And finally: youcan download period correct skins and use them as you please. I however in my videos wont ever use skins with swastkas for two reasons. first i dont bother much, second youtube would essentially shadow ban / delist my content.
