What's one thing you guys struggle with when bidding that you'd like help or a tip on? What was your favorite piece of advice or tip? Finally, did anyone find out what Jake says after finding his wallet? XD

Worked for a prime contractor contracting out for TC energy 2014. sub contracted, Billed them hourly (rate sheet) and they done the same to TC energy with a 30% mark up and they had to supply the safety manual drawn up for the oil company . As a sub we billed for motel bills, $50/diem, .70/km, flat hourly rate $110/hr, and billed for all consumables . travel time was at the flat hourly rate . insurances were on my dime

How many inches a day say 10hrs do you guys bid for 1 welder and helper?
@JacobSchofield11 ай бұрын
It depends on what we expect to be doing. Carbon I bid for 100” - 200” per day per welder team. This will all depend on sch of pipe . Stainless anywhere from 60-150 depending on sch.
