You can use the original receiver combined with original radio on another model, but it will not work with FlySky transmitter/radio unless the they are compatible models...also note that FlySky transmitter have be the same frequency with the receiver being used. For example, the FS-R6B works with GT3B, but not with GT5.

Good Guidance. But if running an RC car, how do you configure the fail safe to avoid the car from running away? I have my car almost running away when my transmitter is in low battery. Lucky is a crawler (slow). Please share. TQ.

I don't believe there is a fail safe built into the FS-R6B receiver nor the FS-GT3B transmitter, other than the natural range limitation. It might be a good question to follow up with FlySky though. Good luck.

As long as the light kit has the feature for signal light and break lights, yes, it will work on the remaining slot.

That I am not sure. Gt3b has built in gyro, but not sure how that works as crawler's don't really use gyro.

I have this transmitter and the fsgr3e receiver. It used to work but now it won't bind... just keep flashing. I have tried doing it closer and further away from one another. No luck I have tried resetting the transmitter. No luck I have tried different plugs. No luck. I have watched every video I can and no luck woth Any of these methods Any advice?

Receivers do go bad...it has happened to me at least once. If you have an extra receiver, then I would try binding it to the transmitter. If it doesn't work, then the issue might be with the transmitter. If it does work, then more than likely the receiver went bad. To really find out if it's a bad receiver, I would try binding to another transmitter (if you have one, or borrow a friend's). That should confirm it for sure. Fortunately, receivers aren't too expensive.

Is this a longer range than gr3e?

I believe the range is same as gr3e except that it has six channels vs 3 channels of gr3e. Since I use it on crawler's range is never an issue, so I never really looked into it.

Couple of ways to fix it. One way is to change the motor wires around. The other way is to reverse the throttle on the transmitter.

The video gives you step by step to bind the receiver to a transmitter. Maybe repeat it. Since I don't use a flight controller, I am clueless.

I would try to rebind it and see if that fixes it. If you have spare receiver, try that. If that fixes it, then you can confirm that the receiver went bad. Good luck.
