Great video, very informative, I'm new to all of this electronical stuff,does this process come before or after binding a flysky gt5 with truck. And if rebinding is needed for whatever reason do you need to reprogram setting's again?
@BigSungHobbies
@BigSungHobbies 23 сағат бұрын
They are two separate actions, ESC vs. Receiver. That being said, if it was up to me, I would bind the receiver to the gt5 transmitter first. Then program the ESC. Good luck.

I don't believe there is a fail safe built into the FS-R6B receiver nor the FS-GT3B transmitter, other than the natural range limitation. It might be a good question to follow up with FlySky though. Good luck.

The intent of this video is to help put together the high clearance links, but more importantly to identify which ones are which. I’m toying with lowering my stance on the ecto; however, do you loose some suspension travel? Wondering if it will affect the performance in a negative way? Did you find it performed better?
@BigSungHobbies

Thank you very much for the question. I say go do it. I find that after finding the right weight distribution, lowering the center of gravity is the next biggest performance improvement. The good thing about this hobby is that we can try to find the right adjustments that works for you, and you can always revert back if you don't like it. Good luck.

@@valleymade9563 The gear is changed via the transmission. As long as they retain the original transmission, and you are able to pick up the OD (over drive gears...Element used to come with free 6% and 12% OD gears for free, but I can't remember if the SE came with them or not). Ask your friend. You could always buy 25% OD gears as well.

@BigSungHobbies no I mean I I have one that definitely go like the one I just did today I actually have a 1/10 that goes well above 80mph. Because I have a bunch of extra parts I was hoping to get something like this like a build kit and put a little bit more power to it I mean it doesn't need to go 50 Mi an hour but not 20
@BigSungHobbies
@BigSungHobbies 5 ай бұрын
Keep in mind that there aren't many RC Crawlers that will be able to hit 20mph. They are designed for crawling, low-end control, and speed isn't the priority. Don't quote me on it, but TRX4 with 2 speed at high end only hits around 15-16 mph. Can you make it go faster? Yes, you can but you end up sacrificing crawling capabilities. Just something to think about.
