The X8R RX has a voltage input of 4V-10V !! This channel did not mention the voltage specs of this RX and chose to use a 5V option only ?? TY !

When I’m ready I wonder if the xm+ will have a similar binding method. I haven’t bought a radio I have some specktrum radios but they seem not popular with drones.

The binding process for all receivers is basically the same set of steps. The XM+ supports SBus so you'll only need a 3 wire cable just like with my X8R. The difference will most likely lie on the transmitter side. Transmitters that don't have a screen will rely on some kind of stick you need to toggle to put it in a binding mode or they'll have some other interface. My original transmitter/receiver are Spektrum however when I was looking into the Pixhawk many people seemed to be using FrSky models. Also my Spektrum (DX5E) is discontinued so that was another factor for me when deciding to upgrade.

If powering radio receiver's SBUS with power and ground from a battery, won't the signal wire need a ground as well?

My X8R stays on solid green & red. Red never goes out, only green is out. Reciever is not binded?? Can you help me out.

Just to get a bit more background for your project and reasoning, why do you want to split the control of your plane? When I built my rc plane I used the same transmitter input to both "wings"/ailerons. Using this input I simply flipped the servo orientation to get the mirrored actions for roll.

I see. Short answer, off the top of my head I don't know. Usually the RX to TX is a 1 to 1 pairing. However I found this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqC0eWWGeNabd7s&app=desktop that seems to shed some light on this idea. Looks like you could connect one RX to the other through an input/output SBUS port. I can't see all of the connections in the video so I can't guarantee this works but it might provide you with a direction to investigate. I don't have a second RX to experiment with at the time being so I'm going to differ experimentation to your end. Let me know if I can help with anything else!

@@joshbutts6092 yes, I install for x8r reciever FW-X6R-X8R-v2.1.0 version. And for taranis FW-X9DP2019-ISRM-v2.1.0.
