Ladies and Gentlemen and Non-Binary Friends, T18 IS NOT A TONER! T18 is a dye! Also, your hair has to be lighter than the toner you are going to be putting on it, so gray toner needs level 10 hair! Also, DON NOT BRUSH WET BLEACHED HAIR! Your hair is extremely fragile after bleaching and when it wet, COMBING IS THE BEST OPTION! Brushing wet bleached hair is just asking for it to fall out. There are a lot of good things in this video and her hair looks amazing, but these things are a no go and you will damage your hair horribly if you do them!

I can't agree more. I've been bleaching my hair the past two times, since Sally's has been closed with BOX DYE and it didnt do much lifting. It's at a whiteish/yellow state, and I STILL havent toned it. Accidentally messed up putting purple shampoo on it dry, and it turned the yellow ends into a dark blonde.. now the color is majorly uneven and I'm having to bleach it with 30 now. Going blonde is a process.

Always tone with a very low vol developer! I noticed you used the 30 vol for the 1st toning! Not throwing shade or anything just some pro info or tips! Also next time you do a lightening process a 10 or 20 vol will be nicer to your hair, if you do a retouch, only do the roots and save those ends from breaking frying off! Love the look at the end and thx for saying what you used glad you used only 10vol!

your hair needed to be a little lighter when applying toner, and it has to be damp. If youre ever going to touch up though i recommend using a blue based bleach because it takes those orange tones faster. The end color is pretty but you also need to be careful with the purple shampoo because it's very drying.

YES. I just tried to tone my hair with it, by applying it dry and leaving in my hair over night. I washed it out, have been using conditioner but it feels SO dry and looks dry. Plus the way it toned it.. I had a little yellow in it and it turned it into a darker blonde.. so now I'm gonna have to go and bleach over this shit AGAIN.

T18 is hair dye not a toner and wont touch ur hair unless you have level 9/10. Also if you take smaller sections it'll be lift lighter and more evenly. I loved ur hair when it was like a light brown. This looked good at the end though.

she used the wrong toner for her hair. T18 is meant for very very light hair and her other toner she mixed in was also designed for level 10 hair (pretty much white blonde hair) but her hair color was around level 6 with a tone of orange still in it. you need to use the right toner for the level of hair you end up with after bleaching. that way you dont need to colour your hair (a level 6 or 7 toner would work just fine for example)

Don't really want to bleach it again. Not really going silver per se, but chillin' and doing hair masks in the mean time. I'd love for my hair to end up like a level 5 (at the darkest) silver/ chrome/ pewter color. I'd say it's probably level 5 right now. Just toning it for now is prob a good option but I don't have any toners, i'd have to order some since everywhere is closed. Is Redken Shades EQ a good line? I don't even know where to buy it. @@nikkizzlefoshizzle you dont need toners to tone your hair ! If you dont want your hair to lighten furhter you also dont need to bleach it!- to get rid of orange you need a blue based toner or blue based hair dye - a little bit of blue (depending on how intense the pigment is) with a small amount of purple can produce a nice greyish charcoal/silver tones - and dont use those purple or blue shampoos as theyre not pigmented enough for a level 5/6 hair - Id recommend actually getting a proper blue and purple hair dye and mix a bit of both into a conditioner with a bit of peroxide - do a test to make sure its coming out the color youre hoping for. alternatively a level 6 Intense Ash Blonde produces a really cool silver tones ( I use Wildcolor 6.111 6AAA Super Intensive Ash Dark Blonde and add in a tinny amount of blue and purple- mix with 10 (or 20 if youre diluting it) developer - and dilute all with a bit of white conditioner- produces amazing colours when its different tones mixed based on colour chart - and the tones youd like to get rid of ) but look around to your local online shops to see what they have!

You've probably already done something irreversible to your hair at this point (haven't we all, lmao) buuut- I suggest doing the Toner first. I once had about that same hair- must've been like a level 9 or so. And I used that toner but with a 40 volume. And it was perfect. It lightened it up like almost 2 more shades. But usually after toner is when you do the hair color. DEF recommend the semi / demi permanent hair colors. Your hair is prob crying so like, the less developer you have to use, the better!

Use dish soap and head and shoulders shampoo, keep washing it as much as possible then do a bleach bath (not in the roots!) so mix bleach with shampoo and leave it in for 15 min max. Or put loads of coconut oil on your hair and then apply bleach and leave it on for 20 mins. Don't use a strong bleach (30 or 40 vol) on your blue hair to get it blonde!! Then when the blue is faded to a mint then dye it pastel pink (pink hair dye with conditioner) with a semi permanent hair color and then when that fades your hair shouldn't be green anymore!

For the wella toner it says in the directions you should use a 20 vol developer. If you can’t get the desired hair with a toner, I would recommend using a demi permanent or permanent hair dye. A good one I’ve used for grey hair is the color chrome from ion colors.
