How to Bleach Natural Hair Platinum & Maintain The Curls | VERY DETAILED

Hey, So I have been getting a lot of feedback on instagram (@rahrii) and was even featured on @TheCutLife twice for my hair. Many of my followers on Instagram know that I've been procrastinating on releasing a video on this and I finally did it! I hope I was able to answer the common questions I've received on Instagram so I hope you enjoy!

Be careful with the shimmering lights. The bleach will grab the color. I too bleach my hair and my tips grabbed the purple.

It's also REALLY drying. I usually bleach once and then again about two days later so I've eliminated the need for Shimmer Lights shampoo.

To remove it - Get yourself a clarifying shampoo. Any good clarifying shampoo will eventually remove the staining and residue. It’s not a hair dye so don’t worry, it’s not permanent. But in most cases I’m doing just what @AliyahTurner said when I don’t have clarifying shampoo on hand. Also, I’ve tried using just the developer in my hair to lift the shampoo’s purple residue... because I felt super lazy to make any more bleach and that also worked.
