WOW, the most important of this video is elevating the bottle so it is above the bleeder valve and below the Master cylinder. Why? Positive pressure from bottle down to bleed valve. Because doing so, prevents air leaking from the bottom of the bleeder valve into your hose "thus making you think it is air coming out of your caliper/wheel cylinder/lines !" The grease trick around the bleeder screw never works for me and if replacing calipers with new ones, gravity bleeding won't get the air out of the calipers, it has to force out.

I just pump the brake then wedge it down with a stick then bleed the bleeder valve.

I have a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. My calipers are riding my rotors. What you just demonstrated do I need to do all 4? Which I don’t mind.Maybe doing one side will do the trick?

The I.D. is 17 thousands of an inch? I don't think so. Probably 0.187. Or 3/16 of an inch.

All 4 wheels and if you have an old 60’s-70’s car with bleeders at the master cyl, the do those 1st. Work from the furthest wheel and go to the next furthest until all 4 wheels are bled.

@@johnmilner7603 it’s a late response but the order you bleed the brakes in is typically: Back Passenger, Back Driver, Front Passenger, Front Driver.

@@mknubs Correct. But if your not using a hand pump then you need a person to pump the brakes 5 X’s then hold the pedal down. You can’t pump the brakes yourself then go back and open the bleeder. With a person on the brake peda, when the person at the bleeder opens the bleeder, air and fluid will gush out and spit. This won’t happen if you do it yourself.
