This is a lever bleed, it won’t replace the fluid, however it is useful

This is a useful and quick way to remove air at the lever/plunger. It will do absolutely nothing for air in a caliper or line. PS. Why did you remove air from the syringe if you then just dripped brake oil into the plunger, lol? Removing air only afftects a closed system.

If you have shimano brakes they use mineral oil, Seth on berm peak used baby oil and it worked for him and he said it's still doing fine a year later
