How to Bleed the Cooling System! BMW Radiator Installation!

In this video I will be showing you how to remove and Install a Radiator in your E36/E34. And how to bleed the cooling system!

My car is a BMW E36 325i 1993 model cabriolet. I got this radiator used from a E34 518i. The old broken radiator in my 325i is from my E36 316i :) I took the original 325 radiator and used it on my 316 hehe.

Maybe your 18i radiator smaller because its a from m40 engine and 16i radiator from m43

This is not the correct procedure. You never start the car, rev it up or fuck about. This is THE procedure: 1 - Remove expansion tank cap and bleed screw 2 - Use the key and turn ignition on DO NOT START THE CAR 3 - Set the heater controls to heat on max and fan speed on lowest 4 - Gently pour coolant into the expansion tank until water starts to trickle out of the bleed screw 5 - Keep gently and slowly pouring water into the expansion tank until no more air is coming out of the bleed screw, only a smooth flow of water 6 - Replace bleed screw and cap. Don't overtighten either. Hand tight. Done.

The small radiator is for e36's without ac. The big one is for car's with ac. So your compact has ac?. With the small one, you can have problems while drifting......

MrNicoe36cabrio Maybe? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Compact had AC yes, I have removed it for weight reduction. So far so good with 325 radiator on the 316 😅👍🏼

Radiator size is the same for 4 and 6cil,the difference is if the car has a/c or not.

A/c car is bigger,more load on the engine and more heat when the a/c is on.

@@sv_cheats1970 To be honest I don't have any problems with the cooling. It's an E30 with M50B25 non vanos engine. I have a stock E30 radiator with an electric fan. I just like that these E36/34 radiators have an expansion tank on them, so it saves a lot's of place in the engine bay, and also looks better imo. I think I'll buy one. :)
