Great exercise. Followed along and discovered that I love the effect of the brush and tortillion too.

Quick question buddy. I’m in the middle of drawing a steam setting. But I know this place and I’m doing it from memory. I grew up at this lake. And the stream I’m doing the water is so clear you can see the river rock on the bottle. How do you make a stream so clean and clear you can see them from about 20 feet away. Lol. Is it possible. ? And you can see the fish. I mean it’s that clear. 😂 can you do a video of how to do that?

Can you wet the paintbrush before? Or does that Ruin everything?

I haven't really been experimenting with that.

Ween you use tortelian you make sure that you won't blend the edge of the blending tools in the paper cause it can damage your paper as well, I heard the tortelian damaging your paper in your vedio..so pls avoid using that thanks for your understanding

I just use thick paper that can take more damage. It works fine.
