great video. honestly I knew the steps already but the reassurance that I’m correct in my thinking is helpful fr

Awesome. Yeah, it helps to see that others are doing the same process. I learned a lot over the years from painting miniatures with others. Thanks for the comment!

The color stains on the paper looks like a skull face with green eyes. Great haha

Oh hah I didn’t notice that’s pretty cool ! I knew a guy who framed his wet palette with dried paint on it because it was the “art that helped make the art” :)

My honest opinion. Love the video style and especially your voice and I even liked it after 10 seconds. Buuut I did not really learn a great lesson. You are basically just applying 3 colors. It works in this case because your two colors are close in value but I think proper blending or wet blending will be a better foundation for your students.

Cool thanks for the comment and the very useful feedback. It’s definitely just a starting point. More videos then :)

Be wary of Air Brush Primers, they tend to wipe right off as they lack the chemicals to force the paint to stick to the model.. you basically are putting Acrylic paint over a plastic or resin model..

Hi, thanks for the message! Curious. What primer are you using? This has never been the case for me and those I work with. Make sure you clean/wash the miniature before priming for best results with the primer coat. Also, a dedicated airbrush primer is not an acrylic paint and will not behave the same at all.
@justinerickson282 Жыл бұрын
@@tangibleday same primer you are using in this video. Even with a wash with dawn soap it can happen. Have done about 100 models over again due to this. It’s not acrylic just used that as an example as to how it would behave on bare plastic. It doesn’t happen all of the time but just a cautionary tale for people out there

@@justinerickson282 I'll keep a look out for this. Interesting :) Maybe it's a bad batch too. I've heard that happens sometimes.
