Helpful information for those new at garment sewing! That pattern looked like it had markings for where the waist and hips are suppose to be how do you figure out where to blend on a pattern that doesn't mark out where those areas are exactly?

Hi Suzanne! The first thing you'll want to do is measure your own body and transfer those points to the pattern. I usually take a short cut by holding the pattern piece up infront my body. You should be able to tell on the pattern where the smallest part goes in at the waist and the widest part comes out at the hip. If these areas don't match the points you marked from your own body measurements, you'll need to make length adjustments before you even begin the grading process. ~K

Do you add 5/8 inch around pattern for the seam?

Seam allowances are included in all of our patterns. Most of them are 3/8" with a few patterns having 5/8". The seam allowances are always noted in the tutorial files as well as on the pattern pieces. ~K

What is the "high bust" measurement? I presume full bust is around the fullest part of the bust, while wearing a well fitting bra.
