How did u transformed the flower to the line made by paint tool?? When i click at the artboard and then at the centre of the flower it did not work.

First you need to double click on the blended object to enter the isolation mode then, draw the line using the pen tool.

In CC2021 I could not get it to blend along the path made with pen tool? I moved the large star to RH position, left star further left, selected both, then Object/Blend/Make

You can select the spine using the Direct Selection Tool(A) and then, modify the curve using the anchor point tool(Shift+C).

Just click in the center using the pen tool then click somewhere else and make a path. Before creating the path make sure you're in isolation mood. In order to enter the isolation mood all you have to do is double click using the Selection Tool or just Right click and you'll find the menu to enter isolation mood.

I didn’t cut any part of the video. Double click on the object to go to the isolation mode and then draw the path using the pen tool just like I did. This should solve the problem you are facing.

Sorry, bro that would be against my video so, use this technique and make something better but not exactly this. I hope you understand. Please watch video one more time and I hope you will be able make the flower. What I did is clicked outside flower once and then, in the middle of the flower to draw the spine using the pen too..
