I lost to a guy using Yamcha chiaotzu and master roshi he would spam wolf fang fist wish was just an easy block then he spam chiaotzu beams but the real problem was master roshi he hit when I was on the floor then he spammed evil wave which was unblockable and everytime I got on the floor spamming to get up he charged up three bars and used it again I just had to sit there skill issue tho idk

Bro I don't know if it's online input delay or just me but I Swear. I read my opponent when they're going to do the dashbehind you. My character turns around. I go to block or either counter and I still get hit. And I. Time my teleports The game. Don't register it. And I still get hit for free. And it's a 180 something characters. And everybody just wants to play the same top tier character. And the Super Counter is Damn hard when you're getting back shot lol And I stay in practice. Working on getting better than I take it online and don't work lol

So many times my opponent will Z burst dash to me and will begin a combo and i swear ill be holding block but my camera wont turn around to block it. What I find for me personally is that if you time it right just when you see them dash... You simply push the left stick straight behind you and time hitting circle as soon as they go for the punch. Takes some timing but for me easy to master. I actually mastered it in rank games only no practicing. I learned this quick because I was gonna stop playing the game because of the dash spam. It's garbage

Your best bet is the Super Counter, which you do by hitting Up + Square (Up + × on Xbox); however, the timing is very strict and it's not as easy as using Perception or Block, which you can't use against hits from behind. You have to click it AS you're getting hit, not before as you usually would in any other game. Doesn't require any ki or skill points either

You can also do a step in, there's a small time frame where your untouchable during the step in animation. You can follow that with rush attacks or perception or grab etc

It's goku aptitude "now I'm angry" (trigger, up, circle for the video) that boost stats and charge in spark mode, some charac can do it too and some have other capabilities :)

Some characters have moves that buff them, evasive moves or full power ki charges that buff them and raise their ki to the max.

So people can pull 30 hit combos on me but I struggle to get up 10, so I have to be that much better and I’m .500 online I can’t put it all together yet. I struggle with defense sometimes but it’s not my main issue. Also I don’t know how to dodge some ultimates. They’re unblockable but it also feels impossible to dodge
