How to block off heater core on Foxbody

How did you prevent the metal shavings from the tap from falling into the pump?

I used grease on the tap to catch most of the shavings. Wiped out all that I could that were left behind. Some will make it down into the pump area but not a huge deal in the cooling system. Its a big deal in the oiling systems but a few small shaving in the cooling system will not cause any issues.
