They will still know. When they text you, instead of blue, their text will turn green. Also, when they click on your picture they won’t see the small button for read receipt.

And when they call that specific message it says people nowadays know that means that they’ve been blocked!! So how do we actually block someone without them knowing bc doing it this way they still know!!

First step is to be ok with decisions you make and be able and willing to make them. Step two is you block someone and put no thought into whether they know or not. Because that shouldn’t be your concern.

I’m trying to blocked a number, that’s not in my contact list. Without calling them.

To block a number not in your contact list on your iPhone without calling them, go to the 'Phone' app, then 'Recents' or 'Voicemail,' find the number you want to block, and tap the info icon (an 'i' in a circle) next to it. From there, you should see an option to 'Block this Caller.' This will prevent them from calling or sending messages without needing to call them.
