When you get to the step shown around minute 5:00, is the time you get up from the computer and go fix yourself aa drink! I've done it for focus extension... 😂 Excellent video; super handy for those times one gets lazy and didin't bring that tripod. My X-T4 is terriffic at doing brackets and should manage that beautifully, I'll try that come Sunday at the local river. The opposite -- removing blur- would come real handy too. Thanks a bunch!!

Very neat. Too bad for those older photos where I took only one or two shots. Lesson learned. Btw the iPhone can do this internally if you shoot with live view then you can press the photo and convert to long exposure. You need to hold the phone steady for about 5 secs when taking photo

Anthony, I already took a waterfall photo before I watched your great and informative video. Can I modify the procedure to do the same thing with a single photo rather than a series? Thanks
@AnthonyMorganti3 жыл бұрын
No, you'll need a series of images so all the moving parts in the scene get blended.

Great content.. always a help if you are unprepared for such a photo..I am curious if it matters what manual settings you use to take the photo or does this technique work no matter what?
@shlomoeshet85253 жыл бұрын
Having probably watched your older videos or similar ones on this technique I am quite familiar with it. I wonder is there a rule of thumb for the number of images needed for it and maybe other settings, such as shutter speed etc.? Thanks.

Hi Anthony, thanks for that tutorial. You said this process is possible to do in other photo software. I use On 1 Photo Raw as my photo software. Would it be possible for you to show us how you would do the same thing in that program please? It would certainly be helpful for me, and perhaps others as well. I really enjoy watching your tutorials, you explain things clearly and simply. All the best to you, Steve

As you duplicated the smart object before processing it through one of the stats algorithms, you could simply rasterise one of the smart objects, rather than importing one of your images.
