Thanks for posting. Mechanic wanted $420 parts and labor to do this on my 1988 M6. I found OEM's for $99.00 and using your video as a guide took 2 hours total. Satisfying, quick project and money saved. now time for a beer.

+fubarTheMagnificent That's awesome mate! Glad I could help you out. I'll be putting up another video soon showing how to replace front suspension too, just in case you had that in mind.

VERY helpful, thank you. I just did mine. Click-clang over speed bumps is gone and car is a lot more boring (in a good way!) in the corners.

Why didn't you put the jack from the other side to give you more space to work, greetings dear

What would happen without one? I looked under my car and it seems the left one is missing and the other one is in need of replacement. Maybe that's why my suspension feels bad.

+Hoon Garage I'd think your rear end would feel slightly dodgy or loose? I know my car felt tighter at the rear when cornering after replacing mine.

Hey, thanks! I have indeed. It was one of first things I did to my car when I got it - I also repainted the valve covers

Hi Samuel, have you ever changed the aux fan on a E34? I wonder how difficult it is and if you have any video doing that. Thanks, Daniel

+Tiger Black If you dont know what oil filter or what brand of oil is recommended for your car. Just use the almighty google search or join a bimmerforum. Tons of information to learn there. I myself use Wix brand oil filter and Mobile 1 full synthetic oil, but recently changed to castrol edge and its great 👍. Go on some forums or google. fr tho my dude.

Nice video. However you have the inner bolt on the wrong way. Bolt goes through the top and the washer and nut go on the bottom. Also the washer goes between the bolt and trailing arm on the outer bolt.

+Samuel Vella Is this procedure the same for the front dogbones?
@SamuelVella1995
@SamuelVella1995 8 жыл бұрын
+FiretruckInc Hey! There aren't any 'dogbones' in the front suspension. The closest thing to them would be the sway bar links, and they are also very simple to change. In my front suspension video it shows how to disconnect your sway bar links if that helps.
