Ellen K both American Samoa and Samoa is wonderful but I if you really want to get down with the core roots of Samoa I highly recommend Samoa(Apia) or Savaii their open markets are plentiful when it comes to food.. So much to tour as an island ...major changes but the people and traditions are not forgotten..

@marigold73866 жыл бұрын
That's right! I m from northeast India and we have varieties of taro . We cook with meat or fish. Remove the skin ,cut them into cubes, put vegetables oil when ready fry it with 2 or 3 gloves of garlic stir it for 2mins , now add water and salt, tumeric powder, and dry fish or meat(fresh or dry) after the meat and taro is cook .. keep stirring and make a heavy creamy gravy. And just before taking off from stove add fresh coriander leaves.

The taro is driving me crazy. I keep trying to make it for soupy type desserts but every time I cook it, the taro is either hard and undercooked or it is flaky and completely falling apart. Admittedly, I have never tried cooking it in a giant basket because I don’t have one.

@historyandculture5623 жыл бұрын
@@kevoman81 It's a perfectly good cutting board. If you're so worried about cleanliness you should eat in a sanitized laboratory not a kitchen. Normal healthy people have no issues. But western people tend to have lots of health issues and allergies so I'm not sure. You're so worried about cleanliness but your Western countries raise chickens, cows, etc. in the most unsanitary conditions (and feed them antibiotics and growth hormones). Western farmers charge consumers 10 times the price for free range organic chicken but in developing countries organic and free range is the norm. So to eat healthy you have to spend 1/4 your monthly salary but for developing countries the commoners eat "organic". So who is actually wealthy?
