Around 2:30AM, we couldn't dig anymore, cause the house with the drainage pipe, was built in the 70's and the masterplan was to dump friggin huge rocks next to the foundation. Impossible to move. And then, the kitten was gone, fell further down. No services were available either, so... not in a good mood today. I tell myself, we did an honest attempt, didn't care if I woke up the neighborhood. Sad stuff.

Beautiful video showing the perfect relationship between cat & human. I'm current cat-less after having shared the past 16 years with 4 incredible cats. I find myself hunting through cat videos to help me sleep, purring has always done that. This orange fluff of perfection is just like my beloved Scamp, who died in April this year. We'd looked after him for 3 years with stage 4 kidney failure. He wasn't in any pain & seemed to enjoy all the extras we had to do for him, like giving him subQ fluids 4 times a day. We were worried it would hurt him but he loved it, because it meant we had to hold him closely whilst we did it. Like the beautiful cat in the video, Scamp was a lover & his favourite activity was purring & cuddling the humans he loved. Humans, love your furry friends like this man clearly loves his companion. One day the bond you have will end, so make the most of it. Your hearts break when they go, & I cannot even begin to describe how much it hurts to lose them. Animals are wonderful but cats are extra special. When they spend time with you, it's because they CHOSE to do so. At that point, you are the most important & enjoyable thing in their world. Nothing ever comes close to the love of a cat. Thank you for posting this video. I envy you your relationship, & am grateful you're sharing it with us. Her purrs are out of this world. 😍

My cat has kidney failure stage 2 the vet has simply said to watch salt intake and that's about it.. And to feed k/d special food, she also said that he had 3 months at only stage 2? Can I ask what u all gave your cat, and fed him, and when u started fluids? Also how often did u go in for check ups and blood work? I think my cat has low pottasium levels as his back legs are weak.. Any advice you can offer is gladly needed accepted and appreciated. Ty and I'm sorry for your loss. I feel your pain. But as I keep telling myself they are in a better place with no more illness pain or suffering.

Cats are amazing. Dogs are too. But I have a strong independent streak and I can appreciate that in cats as I get older. They give love and company but there's an independence that's much closer to human companionship than dogs. It feels more like an earned love, if that makes sense. I don't have furbabies, I have pets. They're not my children, and so, it feels different to have one that grows to love and appreciate you the way cats do.

Your cat videos are wonderful & inspiring, they are such a joy right now as I just lost my beautiful Oliver, a Maine Coon cat I adopted that was abandoned on my street & living in my tree. The day we left to drive 8 hours away to see family a car apparently hit him where he crawled back home to my driveway waiting for me to save him, my neighbor found he passed away during the night which devastated me when I found out. It's excellent advice and it applies to a cat being introduced to the home at any age. The getting-to-know-you stage is critical, when a cat will get used to being petted and associating its human(s) with good things and creating a lasting bond. We have to accept that not all cats turn out to be 'lap cats' or 'sleeper cats', and some get more cuddly as they get older, and some don't like having their rear paws touched (though petting the cat's face and neck and back is nearly always accepted). A lot depends on how much they were handled by humans in their first few months of life. Each cat has its own ways of showing love, and its own quirks, and that's what makes them such a joy to know.

My cats name is pumpkin. She's about 6-9 one of those 3, And I think she's about 63. We had her for 7 years. We recently got 2 more cats but they are both kittens. They are both about 4 months old and probably in their teenage years. But back to pumpkin, If we are petting her, out of the blue she would scratch us. I always tell myself its probably a place where she doesn't want to be pet. So normally I use my index finger alone, or my index finger and middle finger to pet her. But when we bring one of the kittens to her, or if she sees them walking by her, she hisses. She also tries to hit them. The names are Tux and Twix. Pumpkin orange tabby (domestic short hair) Twix yellow tabby (domestic short hair) Tux black and white but I don't know what he is (domestic tabby) So we try and get her used to them, but she now stays in the kitchen and doesn't go anywhere else. She sleeps on the bench, her litter is next to the bathroom in the corner, and her food and water is as well in the kitchen. She stopped coming upstairs because she knew the kittens would be up here. We mainly wanted to get a kitten because we wanted her to feel as though she had to protect them. We ended up getting 2 because if we only got 1, the other one would cry. The shelter found them together as strays, so it was best for them to stay together. And they are actually really cute. Pumpkin is my pfp, its when she was playing with me on my chair for my computer. Twix is very playful too. Tux was shy when we first got him. It kind of reminds me of team 7. (Naruto, sasuke, and sakura) Naruto would be Twix. Sasuke would be Tux. Pumpkin would be sakura i guess. But yes, both the cats Tux and Twix are both loving cats. This morning I had woke up at 5, watched my brothers leave to school, then went back to sleep at 7. I do this because if I'm tired while doing my work, its not going to go to well. But when I woke up, I looked down at my legs and saw Twix sleeping near my legs. Then like 15 minutes later I was already up doing some work. I heard Tux meowing, of course looking for Twix. We just say they are brothers because they sleep together, groom each other, and play with each other. So I go out into the hallway, and I pet Tux for like 30 seconds. I then picked him up, and brought him to my room. At first he just watched my ceiling fan spin. Then they both took a mini nap. I then took a break from my work, and I then climbed on the bed from the bottom, crawled to the top near my pillows, and laid down. Tux heard me so he immediately wanted me to pet him. Twix kept his eyes closed but he knew that I was there. And not gonna lie, these cats will cuddle with you. So after petting them both a little bit, I played on my phone and wen back and forth. Then Twix saw Tux leave, so he left also. And these cats are just adorable. That's all I have to say really. But I wrote this comment to talk about how my cat pumpkin just scratches you out the blue.
