You have to upload the documents before you go to the TLs office. Interviews are solely at their discretion and it usually happens after your biometrics have been captured. They will tell you on the biometrics day if you will be interviewed.

Self service is for you to upload all your relevant documents yourself. That is the documents on your checklist. If you believe you don’t know what documents to upload, then choose assisted service, take all your documents to TLS and the staff will upload for you.

No, I have not been in your shoes. IT’s recommended to book everything before your appointment date, but if that’s not possible, you can always ask the TLS staff at the venue and they will let you know if that service is available on that day.

It’s not mandatory, not everyone is asked to do interviews. The interview is usually done after your biometrics is captured at the TLs centre. They would let you know at the TLs centre if you’ll be doing interview.

I am to book my TLS appointment next, but I wanted to know if the perks of the priority visa is still worth it if you have a (I) denied UK visa for a school excursion when you were 12 applied by the school & (Ii) a family tourist visa to the USA in 2017. I just want to know if these cases might delay the priority decision & if it will be better going with the regular decision and save some extra money. Hmm to be honest I wouldn’t know. Priority is £250, and if you have enough time and don’t want to spend all that, you can do the standard application. Even if the priority application outcome is delayed, it will still be faster than the standard application. So if you are in a hurry, it may still pay you to go with priority.

I’m sure every visa has a vignettes expiry date. You’ll see it on the vignettes when you are given. I think everyone pays for IHS except those in healthcare, but I believe the fee for kids should be a bit lower. Settlement is for those applying for indefinite leave to remain in the Uk. That means their visa has no expiry date. If your visa has an expiry date, use the non-settlement service. Priority service is when you want the outcome of your visa application to come out within a week.

Yes, so write an amount then. In the column at the end you can then put an explanation that the child is travelling with an adult/parent who will take care of their expenses and that the proof of funds is already available in the application of the parent.

I don't understand your question. You have to pay a fee to the TLS for them to process your visa. You also have to pay UKVI for the visa.
