One thing I forgot to mention that some people are having trouble with is that you have to run epic games as administrator if it gives you an error when trying to run Fortnite. Right click epic games and press run as administrator or search it on the search bar and it should show the option to run as administrator, if not, then after you search up epic games, right click it and then it should say run as administrator.

@@frmdawicc8084 if it says something like acces denied or installation incorrect or if it doesnt let you to open fortnite ,well u have to go in your main disk which for example mine iis disk c than go to program files than epic games than fortnite than FortniteGame than bianaries than win64, well after that there will be a lot of files there but u gotta right click the specific one called FortniteLauncher.exe than after right clicking it select properties where there select compability and there u will find the option of "Run this program as administrator" and uncheck that box :) thats when u press apply and ok than it should work like it used to

Read this for zero delay : In the power option settings create a new plan and put pci express off ( if u put maximum performance in windows settings maybe u’ll be able to see the power plan settings) In NVIDIA control panel put preferences at performance then advanced then put shader caches at unlimited and put the power option at maximum performance. Also put the texture filtering quality to high performance For asus users : do all the things I’ve mentioned before then uninstall armoury crate In the bios disable armoury crate service After that install ghelper it will help to cool ur laptop correctly

Then open your settings>system>display>graphics>browse custom options for apps>go to C: drive or where your data is saved>Program files>Epic Games>Fortnite>FortniteGame>Binaries>Win64> click on the file>press add. I found a fix when you game isn't launching. go into files go to the drive that fortnite is on then click fortnite -> fortnitegame -> binaries -> win64 then take all of tha games off of run as administartor

It’s probably because the service for windows update is turned off, turn back on by going to services and making sure services is on, you go to the search bar and type services to get into services, then go to windows update service, right click, and press start
