How to boot from USB in UEFI mode Acer

I am using an Acer Aspire Cloudbook 14 AO1-431-C8G8
This method works if you're booting from usb and your device is not coming up

Hi @B-Glasses, for the pen drive that I use, i have pre-downloaded the windows 10 which is normally what i use for reinstalling windows (PCs and Laptops). My problem is that I dont see any boot priority option on bios and unable to change to bios legacy (only shows UEFI, nothing else). Should i use the same pen drive where my windows 10 installer is on for rufus software? Thanks!!!

Hi I hope you can advise when I turned on my acer laptop E1 523 model it had a blue screen bios. I tried all the settings but its not booting. I think the hard drive may have gone and if I replace the hard drive then try to upload with a usb stick is there any else I need to do. If I put a new hard drive will this clean the memory. Please help I have never done this before and could you let me know what I need to do to get it working thanks J

Hello J. I will assume that: 1. You have a usb flash drive loaded with windows 10 in UEFI mode.(the flash drive itself must have windows 10 on it) 2. You changed the boot priority of that usb flash drive at the TOP or at #1 in your bios. If none of these are done then please do them. If you have more than one usb ports please try all of them. Since sometimes they give issues. Also some computers have a shortcut for the boot menu by striking F12 like I did in the video. When the menu comes up Select the usb name (e.g. "USB SanDisk 32 gb EFI") and press enter and you should be good

There are two uefi options in Rufus. Try both. Also try switching to another port on ur pc, sometimes they can be bad or try another usb
