How to boot your Mac in recovery mode? (Intel-based)

Simply and very #Shorts video how to boot your Mac in recovery mode!
Turn off your Mac.
Press the power button, then press and hold the command R button.
After the apple logo appears, release all buttons

Mine doesn’t do nothing. This lady gave me a Mac to clean it out and to reinstall it. It’s a nightmare no matter what command I put in it does not work they’ll be times were OB firm lockout so you know how to bypass that you just take the ram outand then reboot in alternate and then it should boot up

Does it show a flashing folder? If you hold down command and r it’ll boot into a menu asking for WiFi and wait then it should work and you can fix it

You have a firmware password, you gotta insert it or else you can't access macOS recovery mode.

If u are on the Monterey you have to go to the disk utility and run the band aid or whatever it is called on each of the files under disk and if it fails u have to erase the file that fails and change the name to Macintosh Hd and erase it then run it back on each of them until they all go through and you will be good to download it ! I had to call apple support and have them walk me thru it none of these videos help
