How to Bore Sight and "Pre" Zero your Thermal Scope (before beginning the main zeroing process)

Mate if it helps you out I'll tell you a faster less messing about way than what your doing. Put your target out with tin tape that plumbers or sparks use place that in the centre of your target it will look black in your scope screen take a shot walk down to the target put another bit of tape over the bullet hole then freeze zero take another shot zero done in 2 shots. Hope it helps

I don't really care mate if you know or you don't know how to zero a thermal scope I'm not here to judge I was just helping another shooter out . If I wanted to be funny about your video I would say hope you used the correct torque settings and why nip up with a socket when you can over tighten and crush the tube but I didn't say that not here to judge.

@@justinpaffvett3367 100%, I personally use a torque wrench with the correct NM setting for the scope, but its personal preference I guess. I was just trying to get across that Danny wasn't "trying" to show people how to zero a thermal we have videos for that, but he was trying to show people how he PRE ZEROs before the scope zeroing process begins.

If you watch KZbin on zeroing thermal scopes you will learn something. Not a very good ad for Scott Country.

I agree. Some people use hand warmers but after a bit you get heat radiation and the target is bigger than you want with a bit of tin tape it stays the same size and it's a tighter zero point

Guys we know how to zero a scope using thermal targets etc. this isn’t about that. It’s getting you ON target before you start the zeroing process. The video text explains this.
