Ok, I tried it. It worked just like you said...but what do you do when you run out of natural hair? I tried splitting the 2pcs of fake hair into 3, but it didnt look as uniform, and my daughter's natural hair was sticking out at the bottom. Ack!

I did my box braids today . I use the one strand technique. I still need to practice more. It came out okay for a first timer. I’m home most of the time and I go to the park. Hey, everyone is locked down in NY. I will say, not all braiding hair is equal. I could have finished sooner. But the hair kept tangling every time I braided my hair. It took time to detangle. The brand is Sensational African Pride. I truly wanted to stop braiding my hair bec I was fighting with the stubborn hair. But , I didn’t want to waste my money. I pulled through. It was a learning lesson.

carrie payne Put moisturizer on your hair and comb to stretch it. When you loop the braid hair, place it flat against your head, and try to separate some of your hair into the braid hair. This will help stop slip out for short hair.

My hair is VERY short and natural. What I did was blow it out as straight as i could and made sure to use jam on my roots and comb it through my hair. Then as I braided in the weave I put jam on my fingers to smooth out my hair as I braided down. Also as I braid I try to keep my natural hair on the underside kind of tucking it as I went down the braid.
