Thank you, and am not sure if you check these comments as time has gone by, but really wish you could show taking the generator apart, repair and replace. I have not found a site that shows that. Every single video shows the pump aspect... but again, thanks for your video.

I must have rebuilt hundred of the m1950 and lots of m1942. Last several years I been loving my 520 and m1942 that was issued with the mountain cook set.

I got two of those stoves a bunch of years ago. I actually worked on them two or three weeks ago. Both check valves were leaking. Both stoves had some parts in the pump stems, but no pips. I got one working by making a wet-molded pip out of heavy leather. Didn't work (yet) for the other one. Looking forward to getting the one outside to test it. Thanks for the how-to videos.

Thanks for the take apart and repair video. I've never seen this type of stove but seeing how this pump works makes me want to find one of these and try it.

I'm currently facing an issue where I can't completely screw in the pump, and that leaves me wondering whether it'll be enough to form pressure to start the stove. But I'll find out once I get my seals.

My M1950 came (unexpectedly) with an extra pump assembly in unused condition. The pip and gasket were old and hard, but the leather just needed to be oiled. The pump in the stove needed all three parts replaced, but now I have two working pumps.

Thanks, Have a model marked 1947 that I tried to light with Coleman fuel with no luck. It has markings saying to use white gas or leaded gasoline. I also have three military 1 mantel Coleman lanterns that I haven't tried to light yet, same fuel requirements.

Not sure of the proper name of all the parts but the valve that turns from the black nob is frozen solid, is there a way to replace it?

Have you done the m1950? Pump are similar but the valve is very different.

I’d recommend changing the valve seal(donut) if ever servicing the m1950

Great Vid. Curious that you needed an 8mm ( Metric) wrench on a 50s Coleman stove part. But Good to Know.

8mm and 5/16 are essentially the same. Pretty sure it was really 5/16.
