Awesome video! I’d love to do something like this one day with my beta breeding adventures. I am on day 8 with my first beta spawn. The female betta is a marble VT and the male is a copper HMPK, so watching your copper babies grow up into such beautiful bettas is really exciting. Doing the water changes and keeping the water clean of extra food has been the part I’ve found most difficult in raising the fry as I always get so worried about siphoning them up. I’ll probably try using snails to clean up the extra food and removing their waste in the future.

I used to have a breeding pair, and when the eggs were laid both bettas had fun eating them right afterwards. I've also noticed that, unlike your pair, my female shut shot off all the eggs in an instant instead of laying them slowly.

Actually it is easier than breeding giant bettas..there are few reasons why you fail.. 1. The fry already sick/low genetic resistance.. 2. Ammonia spike 3. Starving to death.. this is just my opinion.. keep trying and im sure you can do it..
