They are gorgeous, got two of those endlers. I have one female fry that might turn into a large all yellow female. That female I would love to breed with the tiger endlers guppies. I think that would be fantastic to get larger guppies with yellow and black

I have endler tank that started with only 7 fish. When I bought them only one turned out to be female but she gave birth to about 45 - 55 fry over a 3/4 month period with only 2 lost

I just got some tiger endlers two days ago to resolve a mosquito larvae problem in my neocaridina tank and they just literally just made a tons of babies.

Your temperature information could be updated. My Endler guppies are in a tub outside. The temperature has fallen as low as 14 c and never lost any. I started the small tank outside to house some of the females. Some were already pregnant and of course fry emerged. As the weeks went by I took out the males. Which left only the females in the tank hence they gave off more fry. I obviously bring them in during the winter. But the temperature I just told you is definitely true

Have you figured out how to produce a higher ratio of males than females, i know with regular guppies it can be done, but with endlers I'm in the process of working this out as mine produce well over 90% females, but the males I produce are an amzing looking fish, and basically a new colour as far as I can tell, I'm trying to produce my own line from them as they are just that stunning.

When I bought a male two weeks ago, he had a light yellow body and a light yellow tail. Now his tail is turning a deeper shade of yellow, and the small black spot he had behind his head now covers 1/4 of the body. At what age does a male reach its definitive color? And does the temperature affect the color? The first few days I thought the water was 23 degrees, because that's how I had set the heating. But I saw from the thermometer that it was only 19 degrees! Oh dear! I increased the temperature. Now they swim around a lot happier. But did the higher temperature also have an effect on the color?

Idk about you but I have a hard time finding endler females. Find a source you trust or you’ll end up like me with a couple hundred boring black guppies hybrids 😭 I mean I’m sure you can make some cool hybrids but my females were evidently just black tuxedo guppies

Though, eating their own fry seems like a logical evolutionary adaptive trait when they multiply easy. If the water they live in lack predators and as such could create too many guppies in the environment they are in. I guess it could be seen as self-regulating population control so it's not too much competition for food and space. Seems smart, although brutal!

I find the tiger endler to be big jerks...I only have one ..it happened to be in with the fancy guppies and they gave it to me in my group...this guy has chased all my guppies and killed 3 of them. I can't catch the little sucker or he'd be out of my tank.

Im curious why you say over and over that Common Guppies have become difficult to keep? I am an old fart I started fish keeping in 1977. I agree they are extremely in bred, that does mean at times you some genetic culls, thus making breeding slightly difficult (still correctable)... But keeping has not become more difficult... I would say it is much easier. They are so adapted to tap water, our general pet store guppies can live through anything and they are someone's culls. Have you had a bad experience? Did something happen to one of your lines or communities? I will agree it is harder to get consistent batch drops but that is breeding not keeping.
