Doe's any one here has some tipps for me how to tame the chicks from begin on? How often can i take them out of the nest? And when should i start to do it? I have a little aviary its to Meters high 1'80 meters long and 80cm deep. The nest is Very high in the aviary and i can only reach it if im going in the aviary! 😔 so my question is can i put the nest a bit lower when the chicks are hatched? So i can better reach it is that ok ore is it to much Stress? Sorry for my long Text and my Bad english!

How to breed zebra finches. Literally place a girl and a boy anywhere where they can find a nest, nook, cranny, etc. And wait. The wait is short lol lol. Zebra finches' very favorite activity is making more finches. So cute! Humor aside, safe pairing in cages or aviaries is best. This video is great 👍

Hello! The finches are beautiful! 😁 I need help though. My female budgie is mating with the male. She spends all her time in the next box and comes out very rarely. Same with my other budgie pair. They exhibit all the breeding behaviors yet they didn’t lay eggs. I give them fresh seeds, fruits, veggies and have even tried sprouts. But they haven’t had any progress. I feel my older female may lay eggs, it’s the other one I’m concerned about. She’s the bird in my profile pic, could you try to identify if she might be a young budgie? I’ve tried to get a look at her eyes to guess her age, but she doesn’t stay still. 😅 I would really appreciate if you could give some tips to encourage my birds to breed as well. Thanks so much. 💕

Give her mineral too and make sure she drinks more water than usual and don't disturb her when in nest and you can check her age with her cere or nose too

Hey, guys maybe someone would be able to give me an answer: So originally I didn't plan to bread finches, as from my previous experiences growing them without nest place and material they there not mating, but this pair mated even without special conditions created, and after firs egg being laid in food basket, I decided to put nest place into cage, long story short I have two extra males ( although they still have darker feathers it is possible to see a bit through them and I'm quite sure that they are males. Just out of curiosity maybe someone has an idea, what kind of color variation these babies could end up with if parents there fawn ( or cream ) female and black check male? I know that I will be able to see it in a month or so, but still, I'm quite curious to have an idea before that time :))

Pleeeeeeease Never keep budgies or ANY parrot with finches etc! It can very quickly have a bad outcome especially with female budgies! Even if you hadn't had issues until now it's not something you want to risk, It's a very horrible death for the finches :( (budgies seem sweet but are often aggressive towards other smaller birds).
