@@creatingcookiestencilsinde2261 I'm a newbie and I was getting so frustrated with making stencils and silkscreens until I found you! Granted, I have a lot to learn, but you are pleasant and so much easier to understand. I hope to be able to master the silkscreen with color layers.

You actually don’t need to create a shape, copy, paste, etc. Simply use the reader tool and erase the area where you want the bridges.

Hey Nancy. This video helped a lot but I’d there anyway to see one that is cut? I feel like it’s going to look weird when you air brush it.

Hi there! If you look at The Cookie Countess website, her stencils are bridged and she has a lot of pictures of what they look like on cookies. I typically make silkscreens for my personal use if bridges would be needed to make it in plastic. I like the clean look without the bridges. 😊Kristi

Oh wow this was an amazing tutorial. I’m so glad I found you. Bridging made easy! Thank you! The only question I have is for the lower case “ i “ Would you bridge the circle or let it fall out once printed

Hi there! Thank you! I would let the circle fall out ;)

Thank You for the video, I use the silhouette cameo, but it gives me an Idea of how to make a stencil on silhouette.

How about a cursive font? Can you make a video on that? Thanks so much! 🥰❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼

I don’t know if I have any cursive bridging as part of another video. If I think of one I’ll let you know. Otherwise I’ll add it to my list of videos to make. 😊

You’re most welcome! I’m so glad you’re finding them helpful. I believe this is a system font from my laptop. It’s AR Cena.

What width is good to use for the bridges please.
@creatingcookiestencilsinde2261 Жыл бұрын
Depending on the image, I often make them the same thickness (or thinner) than the line I’m creating a bridge through.

help it will not let me slice
@creatingcookiestencilsinde22615 жыл бұрын
Kelly Hood Hi there! Design Space will not allow you to slice any more than 2 single items at a time. When you type a word it will be “group”ed letters to form the word. A grouping counts as multiple items. In your layers panel you will need to “ungroup” them and then slice the individual letters.

ugh mine is not slicing
@creatingcookiestencilsinde22614 жыл бұрын
Usually if SLICE isn’t an option it’s because more than 2 items are chosen or 1 of the items is part of a GROUP. SLICE is only available for 2 single items.
