Great tutorial. What mm plastic do you use for your cookie stencils? The one I use is too thick and doesn't lay on the cookie well.

I use 7 mil. For reference The Cookie Countess uses 5 mil. You can also find 6 mil on Amazon. A lot of people use that and say it is a good happy medium between too thin and too thick for their preference.

It really depends on the material you’re using, the intricacy of the design and also comes down to personal preference. I like some fonts and designs chunky while I prefer others to be more delicate looking.
