Many of them converted back to Hinduism while many Hindus converted into Islam and Christianity... We are very tolerating people from so long... I agree that the "north" and "south" are culturally identical, barring the fact that the north has lost some of the ancient shared culture to persianization due to its conquest history. There is a divide in terms of language and mixing, I do wish we heard and met more Tamil or Telugu people in UP or Delhi, or there was a bigger presence in BJP or RSS or Delhi politics. It would do a lot to promote more unity and empathy for each other, and mutual learning.

I met a loving and calm person by the name Anand..when I stated my work in Chennai..in a manafacturing plant..he was my supervisor..I closely work with him..after some time ..he told me that he is from tenkasi..and an rss guy since childhood..said he attended lots of training including weapon training in the mountains..he said you are my first enemy..just because I am a Christian..he said said it in a funny way..also said that the rss were wrong..and instill poison in good people hearts..he left the rss long back..and another friend from Banglore urban area..used to conduct shaka..every weekend..left just because they don't believe" unity in diversity".actually the rss people are good..but the ideology they follow is dangerous as poison..I still have friends in rss..all the time they say that ..we don't hate Christian's and Muslims ji..those stories are fake and created by some groups..even Christian's and Islam people are also in rss..but when looking at the comments in his fb is full of hatred against Islam and Christians...I don't know how I trust him..
